More About Me

Okay so here we are finishing the 32nd week of all this baby growing stuff and I am mostly sleepy. There are those who can't even believe I'm still working. Then there are others who tell me they were working up until they went into labor. I think I'm doing what is standard: waiting until about 2 weeks or so before the due date and then resting.

Ah, sweet rest. I will savour every moment of it. Although my guess is that I won't actually do much resting. I will probably (hopefully) use my mornings, when I have the most energy, cleaning and organizing. Then I will probably go to sleep at around 1:30. And stay that way for several hours. I am looking forward to sleeping long enough to actually have the energy to do stuff.

The baby lets me know how he's doing now. Today I really wanted some pecans, but I couldn't find any. I got pistachios instead. The little boy gave me a few thumps of approval. I like the affirmation part of all of this. I must remember it when he gets into the "I hate you" mode in a few years.
